The building is gorgeous and right in the UNESCO heritage zone. My room was clean and spacious, and I loved the generous breakfast. The staff were warm and super helpful Plus, you can't beat the location for exploring.

Clean with good bed | Central location

No elevators, making it tough to lug bags upstairs. Limited parking as prime spots seem reserved, leaving guests with street parking. The mattresses felt more like plywood than comfort—definitely need an upgrade. The shower experience wasn’t great either. weak water flow and a leaky washbasin led to wet feet.

Staying at the Hotel Palacio was quite enjoyable. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the UNESCO-listed center of Paramaribo, making it easy to explore the area. Rooms are spacious, featuring air conditioning and a good Wi-Fi connection. The staff, including Rochelle and Barbara, were exceptionally helpful, assisting with everything from organizing taxi transfers to providing local recommendations. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, especially the Suriname omelette. However, I did encounter a few issues. The mattress was overly firm, which affected my sleep quality. Also, the showers lacked hot water during my stay, making it uncomfortable at times. Despite these inconveniences, the friendly service and great location made it a memorable trip.

The view from our room was stunning, overlooking the unique wooden houses of Paramaribo. The spacious room made family time enjoyable. Breakfast was a highlight, with perfectly cooked eggs that everyone loved. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel at home.

I had a great time enjoying the clean, spacious room and the delicious Suriname omelette at breakfast. The sun terrace and comfy leisure room were perfect for unwinding after a day out. One minor hiccup was the occasional weak Wi-Fi, but it didn’t take away from my overall positive vibe. 🌞

Staying here with friends was a blast! The location is prime, making it easy to explore local spots like the historic market and the stunning wooden houses. The staff is friendly, and the breakfast was a highlight with tasty options. Definitely recommend grabbing coffee at the hotel to kickstart your day!

One downside was the Wi-Fi, which could be weak in certain areas. It was a bit annoying at times when we needed to look up places to visit quickly.

Friendly staff, clean room with a fridge, made my stay comfortable and ensured I had a delicious breakfast, including freshly prepared omelets, every morning to start my day right.

staying at palacio was a delight. the staff were so friendly and always eager to help, making my stay really enjoyable. it’s located just a short walk from historic sites like waterkant and fort zeelandia. the breakfast had a great variety too, which set me up for my days of exploring. the rooms were clean and spacious, providing a comfortable retreat.
